These terms govern your use of vybe at vybefm.us, vybe.am, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing a campaign, subscribing to distribution, or using our site, you agree to these terms.
What vybe provides
vybe pitches your music to curated Spotify playlists and provides campaign tracking tools. We may also offer paid ad setup or other promotion services described at checkout. Playlist promotion is not a guarantee of chart placement.
Distribution
vybe.am distribution is a yearly subscription. The current plan is $27 per year for unlimited releases. You keep 100% of streaming royalties vybe receives from stores for your distributed recordings. Publishing, neighboring rights, YouTube Content ID, and sync licensing are not included unless we say so in writing.
- You must own or control the recordings and artwork you upload.
- Delivery to stores is fulfilled by vybe (directly or through an aggregator). Timing depends on each platform.
- Each submitted release gets a public landing page on vybe.am. You can share that URL in bios and ads.
- Subscription fees are billed yearly through Stripe and are generally non-refundable after the plan is active, except where required by law.
Eligibility
You must have rights to the music you submit and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). You represent that your submissions do not infringe third-party rights.
Campaigns and payment
- Prices and stream goals are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Campaign work begins after payment and any required artist agreement is signed.
- Stream goals and timelines are targets based on historical placement performance, not promises of a specific outcome.
Refunds
If outreach has not begun for your campaign, contact us for refund review. Once pitching and placement work has started, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in writing.
Artist agreement
Playlist and paid ads services may require a separate artist agreement in your portal. If there is a conflict between these terms and a signed agreement for a specific campaign, the signed agreement controls for that campaign.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit misleading track metadata or music you do not control
- Attempt to manipulate streams through bots or artificial listening
- Abuse public API endpoints, scrapers, or rate limits
- Reverse engineer or disrupt vybe systems
Third-party services
vybe integrates with Spotify, Stripe, and other third parties. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes on third-party platforms.
Disclaimers
vybe is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific stream counts, playlist adds, or revenue results.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, vybe and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid vybe for the campaign or distribution subscription giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or discontinue features with notice on this page. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for risk to the platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where prohibited by the laws of your jurisdiction.
